Another First Love Question
Can any of you advicenators share your stories of your first love that ended because of distance? Like, either one of you had to move away and thats the only reason why your first love ended. Do you regret it? Are you still in touch? please leave as much details, as well as how you dealt with the situation, because right now im finding it to be unbearable.

My first and even to this day only love and I were torn apart because of distance. We always had a long distance relationship...the closest we lived was 200 miles away and the farthest was 3000 miles. we planned on being married when we were both at a point in our lives that we could move closer together. after five years of on and off relationship, we agreed to see other people but not get too attached because one day we would be together. Well, I got pregnant with the guy I was seeing. My love continued dating his ex girlfriend and now I just found out that they are engaged and buying a house together. we are sorta in touch still...and i know that we still love eachother but life put us in different directions. On one hand, I wish I would have married him and just moved to be near him years ago, but then again I would not have my beautiful two year old son. I met him when I was 17 and I am 25 now. It hurts me way deep down even now to think he is marrying another woman, even though I still live with my son's father.
My advice to you is that if you are sure you love someone, do not let that person go. true love can be rare and it does still hurt after years. good luck

ok well i thought i was in love and i always see him as my first love but we were sorta distantly dating we were off and on for a year or close to a year and we liked eachother and all we saw each other at least twice a week and we saw that as distantly even though he was a town away.. it ended becuase he thoguht one he was a year older then me and two i cheated on him so thats why lol. it was hard your not as close and what not its confusing if you guys want it to work you will work it but it does get very hard and temptations rise and its just not fun. hoped i help
