i have a compaq nx6110 hp laptop. recently i had to format the harddrive and run windows xp.
i try to download adobe flash player from the official website but it doesnt, it says it is downloading but it is not.
i downloaded java but it is not working either.
also i need to download my ethernet controller thingy and 1394 net adapter.
so please tell me the information i need !
Additional info, added Tuesday February 10 2009, 10:53 pm: i had windows xp professional operating system...my tech friend did the format...my internet was working fine....nothing was left after the format....nothing..i click to download adobe flash player and it says a little flash movie will play when it was finished downloading but it took many hours and nothing happened or it told me i have it now but when i went to utube nothing played and said i need to download adobe flash player. Want to answer more questions in the Technology category? -Which OS you used before the format: XP, Vista, or something else?
-Who performed the format, you or a tech support place?
-How much data was saved from your old configuration? Were all of your files and programs still there after the format?
-What do you mean when you say that Flash "says it is downloading but it is not"? How do you know that it hasn't downloaded? What happens when you try?
-Does your Internet connection work otherwise?
-What else is broken?
