I was at a local pet store looking at the hamsters and I noticed that a few of them had matted diharria (spelling?) in their fur by their butt. A couple of them looked like they had wet tail. Other than the diharria though they didn't look or act unhealthy. They weren't lethargic or making any noises that would alert me to pain. I went in the late evening so they would be awake...what do you think...wet tail?
daisy456 answered Tuesday December 9 2008, 6:10 pm: yes. this is what the earlier signs of wet tail look like. depending on how big the mats were and how much diarrhea there was is how far along the sickness is. i work in a feed store and am the careprovider for the small animal section. i would suggest getting the dri-tail drops for the water.
