If you are interested in becoming a contestant at the Miss USA or Miss Teen USA pageant, you must first win a state title (Miss "State" USA orMiss "State" Teen USA) at an official state preliminary. The first step to becoming a contestant is to contact the director of the state pageant you wish to enter. Below, Pageant Almanac has confirmed and listed the contact information for each of the fifty-one state pageant directors for the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants.
Contestant Requirements: Each contestant must be a natural born female, single (never married, never had a child), a United States citizen, a resident of the state in which you compete for at least 6 months prior to the pageant, and meet age requirements. Miss USA contestants must be at least 18 years of age and under 27 years of age by February 1st in the year they compete in the national competition.
