Photo editor like picnik?

I really like Picnik but I've been told that there were better photo editors but I cant really find them.

Anyone have suggestions for photo editors that are like or better than Picnik.com?

I'm not sure if it's as good as or better than Picknik, but I've always used Irfanview. I really like it, and you can do all the editing and effects you want. It's easy to use, and doesn't bring any viruses when you download it, so that's definitely an added bonus. Here's the link if you're interested:
