acne problems

Question Posted Saturday November 15 2008, 5:35 pm

hey theree..
so..im 14/female.
and latley, i've been breaking out ALOT. i cant seem to make my acne no away. i've NEVER had this bad of acne. ill get really bad acne around my forhead or my nose or cheeks. and they're really bad. i started re-using Klear Action. it worked really really well when i was younger..but it seem's to just be making me break out even more.

i just started high school..im a freshman. so could it maybe be stress? i just got done with my period. so i know that it cant be that.

and also..are they're any at home thing's that i can do to keep it under control? my mom just today bought me a new face wash from clean and clear and a spot treatment.

thanks for all your help ;))

I'm your age and it happens to me every once in awhile. It could be stress too, since we started high school. I've managed to handle it and I haven't broke out too bad since then. Clear and clear works amazing. I would definitely use that as the directions say. I also use AcneFree. It comes in a package kinda thing and its like the step 1, step 2, step 3 kinda thing. I bought it at a regular store and it wasn't very expensive so I wanted to try it. It works very good. I also got something I use at night before I go to bed. Its called Clearasil. I use it after I wash my face. That helps the most because it dries up the acne when you put a little dab on it. Also don't use toothpaste on your acne. It clogs up pores. It might get rid of them for a little but trust me, in the long run it will not be pretty. So I hope everything goes well for you!

that happens to everyone around your age. im sixteen, and i still get that sometimes. that clean and clear spot treatment works wonders on my face, but you have to keep reapplying it everyday for it to work well and fast.

also, it will help if you have oily skin to get clean and clear oil absorbing sheets. it doesnt make your face too dry, and it will help your acne.

if that clean and clear acne spot treatment doesnt work, try using toothpaste. it sounds stupid, but it really really works overnight. the best kind that i use is crest pro health night. if you have a giant pimple that you cant really pop yet, put this on it all day after school, and take it off right before you go to bed so it doesnt get all over your pillow. it usually works for everyone.

if you dont wanna use that, try squeezing a lemon into a little cup, then dab your fingers in it and wipe it all over your face, it feels refreshing and the acidish stuff clears your pores.

another option is to wash your face down with water, cold preferably, and make sure it is really wet. then take a handful of salt and rub it all over and rub it in hard. i dont know how it works, but it scrubs away dead skin and helps your acne. it worked for me.

one of these things should work, if it doesnt you may need to get a prescription acne medicine. i havent needed proactive yet, but some friends have used it and they say its amazing. there is also a good acne medicine that your doctor can prescribe to you, but it shouldnt be that bad yet.

hope that helps :)
