okay so a commercial came up about gynocologists and my boyfriend asked me if i had one and i said i didn't think i did. i'm not sexually active so is it really necessary to have one?

You don't need one yet, but you will in a couple years. It's good to go for regular checkups (yearly I believe) to make sure everything is in working order. Unless you want to go on the Pill or have any problems you don't have to until your 20s.

Necessarily, no you don't since you're not sexually active and 16, however I know that when you turn 18 it is recommended bccause of health issues, such as cancers and cyst may occur.

as far as im concerned i dont think so. I mean im the same as you 16 and not sexually active, i think if i needed one my mom would have booked an appointment lol. =]
