another lip piercing

Question Posted Thursday November 13 2008, 8:46 pm

I got my lip pierced on the right side in April. I'm 18. I really want a snakebite, but now that I have a job, it would be hard to hide a new piercing.

I work on Saturday and then I don't work again until Wednesday, so I was thinking about piercing my lip on Saturday night with a long labret, letting it heal until Wednesday morning, and replacing it with a clear retainer. I bought sterilized 14 gauge needles, gloves, alcohol wipes, and the labret and retainer.

Is that enough time to let it heal?

No, it's not long enough. Repeatedly taking out a fresh piercing and changing it only aggravates it and makes the healing process longer.
Why don't you talk to your boss about it first?

It is problay not enuf time for a piercing to heal. maybe you should do it on your vacation time so it has more time to heal.
