how long should you let your curling iron stay on before you use it? like 10 minutes b4 using it?

I have a chi and it heats very quickly but i have thick hair so i usually put it on before i get into the shower and then blow dry my hair, and then use it and it works very good :]

you probably only need a to turn it on for a few minutes before using. be very careful not to burn yourself! lol. it might actually say on the instructions how long it takes to heat up. I think we have a conair curling iron, and it works really well. good luck!

I use my CHI straightener to curl my hair and I just leave it on a few minutes before I use it. It really depends on the brand that youre using to determine how long you should leave it on.
