Having worn a tampon or not, chances are it is still going to hurt, and your hymen will pop. Although, some girls aren't born with hymens and others have broken them from riding a bike, or a tampon. But is usually unlikely.
Your vagina, wear the penis is inserted is a tight space, especially for a penis the first time.
For me sex hurt the first couple of times, and my hymen did break the first time, but that is completely normal.
ciao77 answered Sunday November 9 2008, 7:09 pm: Putting a tampon in does not necessarily break the hymen. There is no comparison between a tampon and penis. I have been using tampons for years, and it still hurt when I had sex the first time. The first time hurts for most girls, regardless of if you've used a tampon or not. Even if you have partially torn your hymen when putting in a tampon, the penis will stretch the vaginal area out anyway, so it is bound to hurt. The best you can do is be totally ready (emotionally and physically), and be worked up enough before actually having sex, so that it will hurt less. But all of this depends on the girl- but bottom line is that using a tampon means nothing when it comes to having sex. [ ciao77's advice column | Ask ciao77 A Question ]

however, a penis is MUCH thicker and longer than a tampon, so it will hurt the first time you have sex. it's pretty much unavoidable. but the pain will be less than if your hymen breaks for the first time while you have sex. [ heybbylovee's advice column | Ask heybbylovee A Question ]
