weird patch on my cheek

Question Posted Saturday November 8 2008, 5:41 pm

for about two months i have had these bumps on my cheek in the same area. They are redish/ white and are for sure not pimples. One of the bumps seems to be growing and looks like a white bubble. It hurts just a bit when I press on it. I am 25 and my mother had skin cancer on her cheek when she was thirty. Does anyone have any clue on what it could be? Please do not tell me to go to the doctor because I have no health insurance and am extremely broke. thank you

You have no choice but to see a doctor.
1. Your mum had Cancer in that place - that should be enough to make you want to see a professional.
2. You're asking for a diagnosis over the internet - it's not possible because noone here is a doctor and we can't physically see your face.
I'm not saying it IS Cancer, there is always that chance, but it could be something that's easily treated and not worth worrying about.
When it comes to your health, don't take that risk.
Please get it sorted - money should't be an issue.

Um well it could be cancer if your mom had it. And unless a doctor sees you, there's no way of knowing what it is, or probably even treating it the right way...
