Anyways, I'm a highschool Sophomore. I get along with three teachers out of like, nine this year. On top of that, I'm not a good girl anymore. I found myself, I drink I get high when I need relief & I pop pills.
So my question is, when I'm laying down in bed before I go to sleep I keep dreaming (almost everynight for the past week or so) That I was in school, kicked out of my house & staying the night with this one teacher I hate. Then I kept dreaming & had 5 sleeping pills, then went to school. I got knocked out, sent to the nurse. I then went to the hospital & only the three teachers that I liked came and saw me. It's weird. They stayed there the entire time until I got out. Then my favorite teacher asked me stay the night at her house.
Is something wrong with me? Or do I just really like & trust these teachers. Please, any advice would help.
As for the dreams, nah... that doesn't have much to do with anything. Then again, it depends on your opinion. As far as I know, there's no proven fact that dreams mean anything. There are tons of people who interpret them. Most of my friends and I believe that you dream about whatever you were thinking about, but that our dreams become skewed and just a little strange.
BUT, I do think there's something wrong with the fact that you drink, get high, and take pills. You're much too young to be throwing your life away like that. Saying this makes me a bit of a hypocrite because I was doing the same things at your age, but one big event changed my mind. My friends and I were out partying, I tossed my best friend the keys to a car (I was supposed to hold the keys so she wouldn't drive), and she ended up killing herself drinking and driving.
It took a while for us to realize how destructive our behavior has been. Another girl died from binge drinking (defined by more than 4 drinks in one setting). She passed out drunk, threw up, and ended up choking on her puke and suffocating.
Do you want that to be you or your friends?
I doubt it. Seek help if you can't stop drinking, pill popping, getting high, etc. on your own.
I know that being in high school, partying and doing stupid things is a bunch of fun. I know you probably think that death can't happen to you or those you love, but I used to think that, too.
I know your question is about the dream, but I really thought I should throw this extra information in because it really does mean a lot.
Again, for the dreams, I personally don't believe that dreams mean anything. Then again, studies show that everyone dreams every night. We don't always remember our dreams, though.
But, if you want a "dream interpretation", it would probably be what you're saying... that you trust those teachers a lot and that you believe they have your back. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
