You should eat healthy, a snack here and there wont hurt though, and excercise regularly.
Exercise at least a half an hour 5-6 times a week. If you wish to tone up then weights at least 3 times a week.
The more you fuss over your weight the more you will fail to maintain at a good healthy weight without making yourself feel bad.
Perhaps join a gym or go for a walk/jog early in the morning before the day starts... I find that always makes me feel really good for the rest of the day.
