Creating Blog Group- Myspace

I wouldn't ask here if I could find the help link on Myspace...

I have a private profile on Myspace. Everything is viewable by only friends, including my blog.
Recently, I've started a blog series that a friend suggested I move to a public blog.

Now. I see there is a link in my blog controls that says "Create Blog Group."
Is that what I should do?
If not, then what?
And will this affect my profile privacy?
Or, will my profile privacy affect the public blog?

Please help. I'm not website savvy.

Unfortunately, that is not possible. Public profiles have public blogs and private profiles have private blogs. There is no mixing.

Groups are like categories. They are not relevant to your issue.

Your friend probably meant for you to post your blog on a different, public site such as Blogspot or Wordpress:
