I am looking for a job and I have gaps in my work history, what is the best wording to use on my resume'. I stayed at home and took care of my mother and my kids.

You will need to classify that job title as a home care provider. Next you will all of the duties that you performed daily. If it was taking your children to school, or taking your mom to medical appointmets. Providing meals and grooming can also be included as additional tasks. I also wanted to add that although you work not in the workforce you were working very hard.
