facebook...tagging pics

if you wanna tag a pic of yourself in someone elses album do they get a notice that you want to be tagged or just it just tag you? cause i noticed with the new facebook you just get tagged as soon as you tag yourself..

I guess you can tag anybody you want really. I've never noticed that you had to approve it, you just get notified that they've tagged somebody by e-mail and that's it. You can control whether you want to get tagged or not by just clicking 'remove tag' underneath the picture which you're tagged it.

As long as the owner has allowed people to do whatever they want with the picture, then that should be fine.

With the old facebook, I know they had to approve it.

I know that they're notified when you tag yourself, but I'm not 100% if they still have to approve it (But they do have the ability to untag you, just like you would have the ability to untag yourself).
