all purpose flour instead of cake flour? this cake i want to make calls for 3/4 cup cake flour. its only available around here in cake mixes, which i cant afford. could i just use all purpose instead? this cake has you make a square that you put ice cream on and you jelly roll it. will it matter? will the cake fall apart if i roll it? do i have to wait a certain amount of time after i take it out of the oven? the recipe doesn't say and other cakes ive made, i notice , it tend to crumble a little. so i'm not sure.

Yes you can! If your recipe calls for cake flour and you have only all-purpose flour on hand, you can substitute 1 cup minus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour for 1 cup of cake flour.
So just take out 2 tablespoon for every cup of
flour called for and it will turn out fine. :) ]
