used to be overweight.

im 13/f And i used to be overweight and now im skinny i worked it out really hard and i pushed myself so hard and lost SO UMCH weight. and im proud of myself for it, but i havnt gotton my period for a month and a half and its almost 2 months, i hear that its cuz i dropped weight so my body is just changing and i have to wait for it to come back but its normal if it doesnt come this month right, i guess its just cause my body changed and it went from overweight to skinny, thanks :) :)

yeah that definitely is why you haven't gotten it. that happened to one of my friends too. it's normal if it doesn't come this month. but if it doesn't come for like something ridiculous like 7 months then i would talk to your doctor about it. good job and good luck :)

You're absolutely right - it can be a cause for your periods to stop for a while.
BUT, you're only 13.. How long have you had your period for? Periods can take years to regulate.
If it doesn't come back within the next few months, mention it to your doc and see what he/she says. It's most probably nothing at all to worry about and either one of the problems stated above - which are totally normal.
You should enjoy not having them while you can! ;)
