Setting up Mozilla Thunderbird

Question Posted Wednesday October 15 2008, 8:37 pm

I have a mail.com email account. I want to set up all my email accounts to go into one thing (like Mozilla Thunderbird). How can I do that?

It says that the server is incorrect. Shouldn't it be mail.mail.com?

Please someone give me a step by step of how to do this.

Thanks in advance.

Mail.com only provides POP3 for premium accounts. If you have a premium account, the server is pop1.mail.com. They don't provide an SMTP server, so you'll have to use your ISP's.

If you don't have a premium account, you can use this Thunderbird extension to send and receive mail from mail.com:

Read the instructions carefully. This extension is a bit difficult to use.
