unbleached water-filtered beet sugar so ive been trying to eat healthier lately, mostly whole foods and what not, but i still get that sweet tooth every now and then and just have to have some chocolate! i try not to eat much sugar because it makes me breakout & its obviously unnhealthy, but sometimes i just need some chocolate! ive recently discovered these dark chocolate bars taht ar 88% cocoa, and on the back the ingredients are cocoa, unbleached water-filtered beet sugar and vanilla. and i think soy lecithin or something. what is unbleached water-filtered beet sugar?! is that good sugar or bad sugar? im just curious cause i heard dark chocolate and cocoa is good for you so i thought these bars were pretty good & settled me sweet tooth but i dont want the bad sugar! soooooo what is it!?

Beet sugar is almost identical to table sugar. They can both be called sucrose, and they have the same nutritional facts. If you're trying to avoid sugar, then you should also avoid beet sugar. It's not any healthier for you.
Dark chocolate isn't much better than milk chocolate. It's often very high in saturated fats and calories. ]
