Wireless internet on the highway? My friend was asking me if she can use her laptop to get on the internet on the highway.
Now keep in mind, we're in Saskatchewan, Canada. I really don't think there is anyway she can get internet on the highway.
Is there?
Thanks <333

You can get wireless Internet through the mobile phone network, but it's expensive. This kind of wireless Internet works wherever there is cell coverage. In Canada, it is offered by at least Rogers. In the US, it's offered by AT&T, Sprint, and others.
For a laptop, you'll also need to buy a compatible PC card in addition to the (high) monthly fee. Rogers etc. will probably sell you one. This is what jobrolover3725 is talking about. ]
i think there's something that's wireless, that gives you internet connection that you can plug into your laptop. i would go to an electronics store (something like Best Buy- in the US, not sure what it would be called in Canada)and ask them. :) good luck ]
