I'm 18 and I had sex on the 28th of September with the love of my life. He wore a condom but now I'm getting symptoms of pregnancy. I've been feeling sick today and yesterday. My lower back has been hurting all day yesterday and today. My breasts sort of hurt and I've been getting headaches on and off. What is the chance of my being pregnant? And if I am, how should I go about telling him? I'm prepared to have a baby; I want it so much. One thing though, he is away at school during the week. What should I do about that? I don't know what to bring up about that. I need advice and some positive attitude. Thanks!
karenR answered Tuesday October 7 2008, 2:50 pm: Don't worry about being pregnant until
you have missed your period. All of
your symptoms could be caused by other
things. You could take a home test to
find out, but a missed period should
be your first sign. :)
If you miss a period or your test is
positive, THEN you tell him. Keep in
mind that even though you may be ready
for all this, he may not be. There is
really not an easy way to tell someone
you're pregnant. You just say it. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
