hair loss?

Question Posted Thursday September 25 2008, 1:27 pm

15/f
I am loosing hair EVERYWHERE. It's crazy! Everytime i take a shower, run my hands through my hair or brush it. It's just everywhere! It has been more than normal lately
I dye my hair with natural instincts and wear clip in extensions everyday. Could that be the reason of it or is there something wrong with me?

Thanks in advance

The clip-in extensions could definitely account for that because it's seldom that if something pulls hair out of your head, it pulls just one strand.
I know by experience that clip-in extensions pull hair out. So, if this applies to you, some of the hair that was pulled out of the scalp may be left behind in your hair, loose.
Once water hits it, it pushes it out.

I'd doubt anything's wrong with you.

your hair is probably dehydrated, the same thing was happening to me, i talked to my hair dresser and they said it was breakage, so that's probably your case too. try using hello hydration shampoo and conditioner by herbal essence it's amazing and makes your hair sooo soft.

good luck

It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of this cycle. However, some people may experience excessive (more than normal) hair loss. Hair loss of this type can affect men, women and children.

About 10 percent of the hair on your scalp, at any one time, is in a resting phase. After 2 to 3 months, the resting hair falls out and new hair starts to grow in its place.

So in other words, unless hair loss runs in your family and otherwise you have healthy hair, I wouldn't really worry to much about it. :)

Dying your hair everyday is not healthy and that could be the problem. Also stress can play a role in the hair loss too. Try massaging your head, it stimulates blood flow. Talk your parents about seeing a doctor so that they can recommend supplements for hair regrowth.

I honestly believe it it is the dying your hair that is causing it. Hope that this helps!!!!!!
