Chemicals. So lots of chemicals give me headaches, like perfumes, fake sweeteners, msg in foods, etc.
Those I can generally avoid although my mom continues to buy 80% of food with those things in it, leaving me to eat things like french fries or bananas/fruits/vegetables and water.
I can STILL deal with that. But she has those air fresheners with the smells, like Glade Plug In and stuff, and they give me such a terrible headache/migraine, that i even start crying. She doesn't listen and continues to buy them and puts them all over the house even after i throw them out :( there is no way to get it through her head... i've even shown her websites about it, and she says that it doesn't affect her so she doesn't care.
what do i do??

WOW. Try getting her to make you a Dr. Apt and after the Dr (Or a school nurse maybe) can tell her that this is indeed a legite thing, then maybe she will listen. Also, normally I would never suggest going against your mother, but there is NO sense in her buying something that she know's hurts you. Migrane's are absolutley HORRIBLE. I too have them so bad that I just cried so I definately understand where your coming from. These plugin's cost like $5 to $9 bucks each so when she plugs them in the wall, you go and UNPLUG them. She'll get the clue when she keeps waisting money on plugins that she can't even keep. I'm sorry I really can't give you any better advise, I just felt so bad for you when I read your question. Hopefully she'll realize she's hurting her daughter. ]
I suffer from exactly the same. Luckily, my mum doesn't buy things which she knows hurt me.
This is quite a tough question, because since she is your mother, you're going to have to live by her rules if you live in her house - but since it's actually affecting your health, I think you're going to need to see a doctor about your migraines and have the doctor explain it to her. Perhaps she thinks you're over reacting, I don't know. but if you have a professional tell her, she might realize.... ]
Wow, whoever "she" is needs to be a little more considerate to your needs. Maybe you could try seeing a doctor and getting some medication to help, that way, if she does continue getting them - you'll feel better and won't get so sick. ]
