PS i am a 13 year old girl
So at night I like to talk to my crush on IM. We only talk to like 10:30 on school nights, but my parents don't think i should be allowed to be on the computer at night, something about how my siblings weren't ever allowed to have the laptop in their room. They don't know that I am talking to my crush, who is moving at the end of the year; i NEED to talk to him. My grades aren't suffering, i still get up early every day, but they keep hinting that they wont let me talk on IM at night anymore. how do i deal with them??

for a while from your laptop in the kitchen,
or other room they can supervise you from?
You see the fact that they don't know who
you are talking to or why, is the very reason
they don't allow it.
If you REALLY need to talk to him, be honest
with your parent and just ask. Once they see
you aren't up to any shenanigans they may
just see that they can trust you to IM at
night a little. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

I believe you should talk to them if the situation get worst. tell them that it isn't disturbing any of the following things you have just told me. If the get mad and cause an extreme fit stop talking to him for only a few days until things boil down. If all comes to worst you could sneak the lab top in your room. But beware this answer might lead into some trouble. [ Kittzen's advice column | Ask Kittzen A Question ]
