17/F (Soprano) I'm looking for a really upbeat song to sing for an upcoming talent show...some examples of my favorite songs:
We Belong by Pat Benatar
Cry by Faith Hill
& Taking Chances-Celine Dion
I'd prefer it didn't be about love with some dude...I've never been in love and wouldn't relate much to the song...remember: I want something really cheery! thanks.

"I Have A Dream" is a good song to sing at a talent show, but it's not very upbeat.
Their most upbeat, but still singable songs songs would either be "Voulez Vouz" or "Does Your Mother Know" (Does Your Mother Know is sung by the guys on the Album, but it can easily be adapated for a female singer as was done in the movie Mamma Mia!) - The Way I Am.
- Giving Up.
- Breakable.
- The Hat.
- Die Alone.
Other than that, here are some other suggestions:
- Bottle it Up: Sara Bareilles.
- Mercy: Duffy.
- Umbrella: [listen to Marie Digby's version]
- Wine Red: The Hush Sound.
- Music Box: Regina Spektor.
- Fences: Paramore.
- Smile: Lily Allen.
- LDN: Lily Allen.
- I Am Me: Ashlee Simpson.
- The Sweet Escape: Gwen Stefani.
- All I Have: The Rocket Summer.
