Flat Stomach

Question Posted Thursday August 28 2008, 5:02 pm

For a very long time I've wanted a belly button ring, and finally I talked to my mom about it. She said that if I can make my stomach COMPLETELY flat, I can get one. Like I'm talking NO fat, but I don't want too much muscle or a six pack or anything, because that's scary on a girl. lol. My tummy is already pretty flat, I just have a bit of a "pooch". I basically need to know what do I have to do to get a completely flat stomach in as little time as possible.

Thanks In Advance!!

I cant really see why a lack of strength in your lower abs would cause that. If you really are weak, then developing some abs might tighten the area up a bit, but if there is any fat there at all, it will still be there.

More likely what you need to do is to lower your calorie intake slightly and start doing some cardiovascular work (running, biking, etc.). Most often this can only be tackled by lowering your body fat level.

Good luck.

that little "pooch" you're talking about is the cause of poor lower ab muscles.
What you can do is, after your regular stretch, lay down on the floor, raise ur legs up 90 degrees freom the floor, point your toes, and do crunches in that position while trying to touch your toes with your fingers. In other words, it's like trying to touch your toes while standing except your on your back while doing it.
it's great for lower ab muscles!
