Always make me sad...

Question Posted Thursday August 28 2008, 4:46 am

Recently I've been having a lot of dreams where I'm with the perfect guy for me.
When I wake up, I can't help feeling so disappointed and sad.
I have a sort of a boyfriend but things aren't easy between us at the moment.
The guy in the dream is some guy I don't know but yeah...
I know it sounds really stupid but is there any way I could stop having these dreams or stop feeling disappointed/sad when I wake up?

Thanks.

I used to have a dream like that. I'd wake up and feel all upset because my boyfriend wasn't anything like "Dream Guy".
That's the thing though, no guy is going to live up to your dreams. Your dreams idealize boys, which just isn't fair to you or the guys.
Things aren't going so great between you and your boyfriend? Well, what relationship doesn't have problems? Dream relationships might not, but in the real world unfortunately we have to deal with junk like that. And that's okay. If everyone was perfect, life really wouldn't be much fun. And then your dreams wouldn't be so awesome, since you'd be so used to perfection in your waking hours. =]

So what can you do? Basically just accept that dreams are dreams and boys are boys. Never should the two collide. ;]

You cant really stop a dream. Its your imagination winding down. And maybe this reoccuring dream you are having is trying to tell you something. It could be either this guy you are with is the one, and you need to talk it out. Or you could do better and should break up.
