Setting/volleyball

Question Posted Tuesday August 26 2008, 8:16 pm

This year, I made my high school's State Championship varsity volleyball team as a starting setter, I was so excited! However, I've completely lost my touch. Last year, I did great on my club team and on the JV level. Now I'm 2nd string and I'm not getting any playing time because another girl came up and can do 100times better then me.

I'm getting called on doubles all the time, my footwork is off, and I can't keep my sets at a consistent height or place. Can someone please give me some tips or let me know what you did if you got into a setting slump like I am.

Thanks a ton :)

you need to practice just get a few girls off the team to help you practice a few times a week the more you practice the better and eventually you will get back to your championship self good luck:)
