Question Posted Saturday August 23 2008, 5:53 pm

i was just searching for apartments to rent in new york, and i came across this one:
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

why is it only $350 a month when the apartment itself looks stunning? is there something wrong with it, or is there something that they dont tell you?

Hi there,

This is listed as corporate occupancy and such, with weekly maid service. Odds are this is either the weekly, or daily price for a short term corporate lease in NYC.

As mentioned, calling the number is your best bet.

Notice how the Deposit says "N/A"
The deposit is a very big key factor when renting/buying anything! I'm guessing the deposit is going to be ridiculously high if the monthly rent is only $350. The apartment is very nice. My bf & I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, and it isn't near as nice as that apartment. We pay $800/month. You should definitely call To contact property directly, call: (646) 233-0658.

I'm willing to bet that the $350 a month isn't correct. It's probably $350 for the deposit and more for the monthly payment. I would call the landlord to find out for sure.
