so this is pretty gross, but i just need to know - so before i started my period, i had this white, gross stuff everyday, so i always had to use a liner, then, my period started and i was hoping the white stuff would stop. well, it didn't, so i now have a heavy period every month, PLUS this stupid white stuff EVERYDAY. is this normal? will this ever stop???? i'm so fusterated because i really thought the white gook would stop but it hasn't, in fact it's even got heavier and grosser. UGH

heybbylovee answered Wednesday August 20 2008, 5:02 pm: it's called discharge, and it's COMPLETELY normal. in fact, almost all girls get it! there's not much you can do but you can wash out your vag. everyday in the shower and also quick clean-ups when you go to the bathroom and pee.
will it ever stop? yes eventually it will. it has its ups and downs so you can see it stop for a few months and come back. don't worry too much about it unless you feel burning, itching or discomfort while urinating, in which case you need to talk to a doctor.
