brittanybloggers answered Wednesday August 20 2008, 4:12 pm: I have moved at least twice a year and me being in highschool, well i know what you mean when you say it's not fun being the new kid. Most of the time your scared that people are staring at you or you think you wont make any friends, aand i was VERY shy. But if you put yourself out there no ones gonna step on you. If you just introduce yourself to people then your bound to make some new friends. So what if people are hesitant to meet you? You make them realize that their lucky to have you at their table. And if these people are the standoffish kid of people you wouldnt want them for friends anyway! It proably dosen't help you very much if you spend time in the bathroom at lunch when you could be out making friends! And i might sound a little strange but try just for one day to meet at least 5 people ypou havent met yet, and if you see one at lunch start talking to them and sit down beside them. And for just that day don't look once at the clock and when the final bell rings i bet you never would have guessed that school was already out. As for being a new student, give it a little while and people will get to know you better.
Hope everything works out for the best!
Sincerly,
