healthy foods for lunch?

Question Posted Tuesday August 19 2008, 5:52 pm

I need a list of healthy things that I can eat for lunch so I can make a plan on the calendar for my school year.

My nutrition used to be at the top and now it's messed up from high shcool and it just pushes things. With a plan it will help me decide what to buy or not to buy in the cafeteria and what easy things I can make or pakc at home to bring.

=] thanks!

A healthy sandwich using a whole grain, wheat bread. Not the soft wheats with High Fructose Corn Syrup either, the real stuff (it is heavier). A yogurt and fruit is great. A banana is easy to carry, or a pre-cut orange, some bottled water. Maybe wheat thins as a snack. OR. Make a healthy dinner with enough leftovers to take to school, so that way you aren't eating a cold meal all the time. Happy Food Hunting. :D

Search around for where you can enter your weight, and hight, age, and amout of activity and you can get a list of the ammounts of each food group of what you should be eating everyday, take a look at that.

But:::

Try getting
Sandwhich wraps
fruits
cellery
veggies
etc.

Just lay off the high callorie snakcs, you can have snacks with no nutricinal value as long as you eat them in moderation, try to stay away from empty callorie foods. Research some stuff and try to make a scheduale for fruit days, veggie days, meat days, etc.

But, you should try to eat everything, at least something from every group, everyday.

good luck
hope i helped
