so im trying out for a highschool team and i need to run 3 miles in around 21 minutes. right now i can do it in 24. the tryouts are in a week. how can i improve by then

Keep stretching, you need to get your mucsels loose. Tone down the training this last week, you odn't want to pull/tear muscle.

Find someone who you know can make the time limit, keep up with them, you can do it. Just don't leave the person stick with them.

of course you just need to push yourself make yourself think that your running for a car or something that you really want keep tellig yourself you need to get it and you'll end up achieving your goal good luck :)
