No. There is no difference, and you can convert from one to the other by simply renaming the file. Both will work exactly the same.
JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group, so the format should be referred to as "JPEG" when possible. A long time ago, though, all file extensions (like .jpg) had to be 3 characters in length or less, so .jpeg was shorted to .jpg. When people stopped using OSs that required the 3-character limit, .jpeg became more commonly used. ]
