this is for dancers:
i have a lot of questions, so i'll just say them all and hopefully someone can answer all of them.
i can't seem to keep my left leg straight when i do left pique turns on pointe, what should ? i can do them fine slow, but when i have to go fast i get all messed up. any tips on getting better turning leaps? because i'm not very good at them. also, tips on having higher attitudes in front and back and tips on getting better switch leaps, because i couldn't do switch leaps if my life depended on it. also, how do you torres? my last question is, what are brushaes? i don't know how to spell them, but they are pronounced like broo-shays. i couldn't do them in ballet and i want to practice them but i forget how to do them. thanks!
lady81 answered Sunday August 10 2008, 10:55 pm: for your left piques, make sure to plea your right leg a lot before you go up on your left leg each time. if you have a very low plea, it will help you do your left piques faster and more accurately. that's all i can answer!
