Two of the most important modern influences on our language have been the growth of science and communication technology. Why do you suppose science and communication media have been so influential in causing changes in our language? What do you suppose is the nature of those changes?
I really don't know what to say, except that the Internet is causing slang, but that's not completely the whole language. Any help? Thanks!!

LOL_x0x answered Wednesday August 13 2008, 8:11 pm: That is my EXACT essay question, too. Do you by chance live in Illinois?
Anywho, we cannot write your essay or do your homework for you on this site. However, just think about it. I was stuck for a while doing mine, but when you really think about it and re read the essay you were given with the question [if you have the same assignment as me] it's really not that hard to write it.
