This is the first cell phone I ever got and the first cell phone anyone in my house ever got. It's Virgin Mobile. I'm on prepaid services (that means i can pay as i go right? I won't use it a lot).
On the box in the front, it says "Be up $50 on prepaid $35 and get a $15 credit when you activate online".
What's "prepaid" and "credit"?
I logged into my account on their website and under ACCOUNT BALANCE it says:

The account balance is what is left over, which it sounds like in your case was a promotional thing. You can use that 15 dollars over the month on texting or ringtones or pictures, or if you go over your allotted minutes. If you don't use the 15 dollars you can use it next month, like on sept 4 when you need to top up, you only need to add 20 dollars if you pay 35 a month. Hope that makes sense. beware of hidden charges. [ person43's advice column | Ask person43 A Question ]
