alright so I got my lip pierced about two weeks ago. I think that at one point it was infected (there was greenish gooey stuff) but I kept cleaning it&now it doesn't have discharge, it doesn't burn or hurt, &im pretty sure that if it was infected, its not anymore. but I was putting a new stud in earlier today, and I noticed that on the inside, the skin around the piercing is like an off-white, slightly grayish color. is this normal ? what could it be ? please respond with what you think it is, &how sure you are that you're right. thanks !

IF it's on the outside, it should go away over a period of time. I've never had an infection when I had my lip pierced but I did notice that the skin around the piercing on the outside was kind of grayish and that inside, whenever I changed the jewelry, a white bump would show but I was perfectly fine. The grayish part went away after a while and the white bump was just scar tissue.
