well i'm 5 foot and half an inch. yes half an inch. anyways i'm about 113 pounds. its not like i'm fat or anything i just want my stomach to be flatter. i've done the seventeen magazine workouts but they are hard to stick to when cheerleading takes up a lot of time. so if anyone has suggestions that would be great. thanks a ton.

One work-out that is really helpful is hula hooping.

It's fun, fast, and also works at slimming down your waistline.

It's one of my favorites. I do it while watching TV, so it's not like I have to set aside any special time to do it.

I use 2 water-filled hula hoops every day for anywhere from 15-30 minutes, but what you should really be using is a weighted hula hoop you can buy at your closest gym or online. They come in various weights, and you use them for very short amount of time and still get the maximum benefit.

What you want to do is to increase your abdominal muscles. If you have a nearby gym that offers ab workouts, those would be great to take. Or if you're short on time, you could do quickies at home. I have some links I think you'd like.
