Could I be pregnant?

Question Posted Sunday August 3 2008, 10:48 pm

I first started feeling weird sensations just 3-4 days after having sex. It started out as a very sharp pain in my lower back (it felt like period cramps, however it wasn't my period), and that lasted a few days. Then I started feeling like I was going to puke, and that happens at various times of the day. And I also start to feel nauseous while driving in the car. The smell of food just makes me sick.

It isn't time for me to get my period yet, so I can't predict it by that.

Answer seriously, and I'll rate 5's

`thanks

I doubt if you are pregnant due to the fact its way to early to determine that yet. Your body probably just hurting from when you had sex. If you have any more things you find unusual then i would buy a home pregnancy test

Many women begin noticing slight symptoms within a day or two of implantation, which usually occurs 7-10 days after conception (not necessarily the same as 7-10 days after sex!). The pregnancy hormone, HCG, is not present in the bloodstream until after implantation, and can be detected by an early home pregnancy test as soon as 10 days past ovulation if pregnancy has occurred. After implantation, some women begin to feel the typical signs of early pregnancy -- sore breasts, slight nausea, etc.

Hope that helps!

Women don't begin to see any symptoms until at least two weeks after becoming pregnant. Some women don't even see the signs until much later. The pain could just be soreness from sex.

So no, you aren't pregnant. It's way too soon to see the signs.

Honestly if you weren't using any good protection there is always a chance and unfortenatly the only way to know is to take a preg. test or to go to a doctor to find out...

I'm not exactly sure how long you have to wait to find out from either one though I'm sorry to say, but you can always go to a walk in clinic, they are free and you don't need a parent, they are meant for things like this so if you can find one that's what I'd do/did...

It could also be that your scared/paraniod that your getting all of these feelings?

I'm not trying to be mean I'm just suggesting it only because the same thing happened to me.

I was so stressed out that I did actually miss my period, but i wasn't pregnant. Because when your body goes through all of that, it does strange things.

But if your very sure that's not it then definitely seeing a doctor, because even if you aren't pregnant those are things you need to take care of... For me I just stressed myself out too much and had the begginning stages of the flu.

Good luck and I hope this helped at least a little.
