Period at school...
In 8th grade i got my first period....in reading class we got to lay where ever we wanted to i layed down on the ground.My period was always so light that i barely notice.When The bell ring i got up and felt something wet and sticky on my but.....i felt it and i had blood on my fingers.....i was so terrified i had to tell my teacher(female) and she let me use her bathroom and gave me some shorts.....luckily no one noticed.....now im going into high school and my period can sometimes be heavy.I got my schedule and found out that all my classes are far away from each other and we only got 3 mins to get there. It takes me five min to go to the bathroom with my monthly.I usually go to the bathroom every other classroom....but i feel like the teachers and my classmates think i ditch class or something.....Im thinking of wearing a tampon from morning to lunch...from lunch to after school? Do u guys have any plans for me?Srry this is kinda long

first, your teahcers can't be so strict that they will reprimand you for being late to go to the restroom, nor can they keep you from going during class. they litterally CAN"T. they can get in a lot of trouble if they do. but i would say to know when you are going to get it and you can try tampons if you want, but just wear a pad on the day you'll get it. (always carry pads or tampons, btw!) you can also see how close your classes are to the restroom and so you can drop off your stuff and tell your teacher you're going to go real quick (kind of like "i'm not REALLY late"). you can also get pads that are for heavier periods but aren't muh bigger, like always nighttime ones. anyway hope that helps. i'm sure you'll be fine.

Chances are your teachers are women and they should be compassionate enough and understand. If you don't have enough time to complete your bathroom duties -haha, bathroom. duties :P- then just talk to your teachers. Most teachers are lienient when it comes to females and the bathrooms.
Or you could always wear a maxi pad or a tampon AND a light pad or something. Most importantly, just breathe and relax. Every girl all over the WORLD goes through it.

can't you get up during class to go to the bathroom? like at the very begining of class. you can wear a tampon and a pad at the same time. i know a few of my friends that do that and i do it too. be careful with using a tampon thats heavy. don't use a heavy tampon on light days. :) good luck -Sara 19/f

i have the same problem with my school also. what you can do is use tampons like you said or you can wear pads. the only problem with pads is that sometimes when you wear jeans they can be seen. since you only have 3 minutes to get to class i would suggest you wear super tampons cuz they last longer. but when you first use them they might hurt a little bit. hope i helped some.
