Kabuki brushes are full-coverage brushes. They deposit a lot of makeup onto your face rather quickly. They're good for mineral foundation and blending blush.

A kabuki brush is a bigggg powder brush. Used for mineral makeup or putting powder on to set your face. It's faster, easier, and gives a more natural look than traditional powder brushes.

On the cheap side, JANE cosmetics (sold at drugstores including Walgreen's) has one that works well. BareEscentuals, sold at Sephora and Ulta, also makes a good one.
