A strange phobia I have a very true phobia of cotton. It's called Bambakophobia. I have such a huge problem with it. I've had it for many years and it makes doing certain things very difficult. I just can't stand the feeling. It makes me get shivers, feel sick, and freak out.
Not many people believe me when they hear this.
My question is, Is there anything I can do to cure this phobia at all?

Good question.
I'm afraid you'll need to see a psychiatrist regularly if you want to cure yourself of a phobia.
The process is known as systematic desensitisation.
Basically, it's gradual exposure to cotton and cotton related things until, eventually, you get used to it and are no longer bothered by it.
This could take a long time though, depending how severe your phobia is. Be prepared for a long journey.
Good luck

You sound like my 6th grade teacher, he had the worst fear of cotton ever. there wasn't really anything i think that he could do about it, he just had to make sure he was careful with our class...all i can say is dont tell a lot of ppl your afraid of cotton or they may start bringing it around you to freak you out, just tell people you trust enough with that little fact ]
