ive been on yaz for over 2 years now.. and i was put on antibiotics 2 days ago.. my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex yesterday, what are the chances of me being pregnant?

with birth control pills is pretty old. Its
one of those things that is difficult for
them to get test subjects for!
In the study, of the women that got pregnant
while on birth control pills, taking
antibiotics was something all these women
had done.
I really doubt you are pregnant, you have
been on the pill for a while. It can't
hurt to call your doctors nurse and ask
your doctors opinion, just for peace of
mind. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

Suprisingly, because everyone I know, including myself has had problems with YAZ. But, birth control no matter what kind is only 99% effective. I know plenty of people who have gotten pregnant on birth control. If he busted inside of you, then I'd wait & take a test because that is the only way you will know. But there could be a chance but a slim one at that. Also, if you just started the anti-biotics, then you're okay. I know that before they put you on anti-biotics they do make sure your not pregnant because certain ones can cause birth defects. But they make some especially for pregnant women. ♥ [ LiLMAMAx's advice column | Ask LiLMAMAx A Question ]

But there are a lot of people who still get pregnant even on birth control.
Try to use a condom next time to decrease your risk.
