If you are, everything I read everywhere said they were a good product. With all of the good reviews, I'd say there probably is no harm in trying them.
Just remember- If you are white, it probably wouldn't be wise to try it.
You'd be better off getting a vitamin enriched shampoo/conditioner. I use Garnier Fructis, . (I don't know if that's spelled right, but you know what I'm talking about...) I alternate between the Moisture Works and the Length and Strength.
To be honest with you, you can't make your hair grow faster. Sure, many products claim to be miracle products, but they aren't. They're just trying to make a buck.
My hair grows slow, too. This is what I do:
Use shampoo at a MINIMUM of every other day. Shampoo is as stripping agent. It strips all of the natural oils from your hair. Your hair needs some of those oils to be healthy. Shampoo will also dry your hair, causing breakage and split ends.
My aunt is a hair professional. She recently told me that you really only need to use shampoo on your roots and scalp. Saves on shampoo, and also saves the oils your hair needs.
I use a deep conditioning treatment once a week. Brand doesn't really matter. I use a John Freida product.
Trim those split ends! When you notice splits and breakage, get a trim. If your hair is splitting and breaking off, it's not going to grow out. All of the new growth at the scalp is just replacing all of the broken stuff.
No, you don't have to trim once a month. I trim about once a year, to be honest with you. No since in cutting what isn't damaged, right?
Have patience. That is key.
My hair is now 20 inches long. It has never been this long in my entire life. I'm going for at least 30 inches before I have it cut, and I'm donating 20 inches to Locks of Love.
Then I'll start the growing process all over again. ;-)
