Taking advantage of Tracfone?

Question Posted Tuesday July 15 2008, 2:14 pm

So here's the deal.
I want to go out and buy and Tracfone, the one with built-in double minutes for the life of the phone. Now I was thinking, if I buy that, and another double minutes card, along with and 60 minute card, and program both of them into the phone, will I get 240 minutes? Or will the second double-minutes card not work because I already have double-minutes? If it does work, will I have quadruple minutes?

The thing with double minutes is you have to buy the double minute card, buy another card and whatever that is will be doubled. Lets say you buy the double minute card, the next day you buy a 120 inute card, when you program that into the tracfone then you should 240 minutes. In your case you would have to buy two 60 minute cards in order to get the 240 you want. So in total to get 240 minutes that way you are thinking, you would need to buy two double minute cards and two 60 minute cards.
