im underage. if i were carrying a bottle of alcohol in my car, but it WASN'T open, and i got pulled over just say at a road block of something, and they found it, could i be in any kind of trouble? i've heard that if it's not open, they cant do anything about it.

im in Georgia if it makes a difference.

Yes, you could be. Where I'm from, you could get charged with illegal transportation and illegal possession. I don't know the exact laws in georgia, but I would assume that they could definitely do something, especially since it's in a car. It doesn't happen very often, but technically in Illinois, they can take away your license just for having a closed container in your car, so you should definitely find out what the laws are in your state so you don't get yourself into trouble.

Yes you'd be in trouble. I am not aware of any state that doesn't have a "Minor in Possesion" law. If it's open then you'd have even more problems. So yes they can do something about it, open or closed.

The laws are a bit sneaky. Best to
keep it in your trunk and out of the
passenger area of your car.

Even 1 can of beer could be considered
an open container. The can may not be
open, but the box it came in is...even
if you don't have the box. :)
