Anyways, I have really thick big wavy/curlish hair. I love my waves when their wet/dampish but then when it dries it gets huge and frizzy. what kindof mousse does anyone recomend.
Thanks :)

In the shower, after my normal shampoo and conditioner, I use herbal essences "none of your frizzness". It's a smoothing leave-in creme. That takes care of the frizzy/poofy problem. And then I use garnier fructis style curl construct mousse extra strong. They're both really inexpensive and they're available pretty much anywhere that sells hair products.
It works perfectly every time. And it seems like they have to be used together, because I've run out of one or the other a few times and I tried it anyway...and it didn't have the same effect. But that could just be all in my head, haha.
The only thing I suggest, though...is to brush your hair only before your shower...then afterwards don't brush it. Just put in the mousse and like scrunch it up. I figured out the hard way that if I brushed it after my shower...then the curls don't...clump...the way I want them too. Haha, I couldn't find a word for that...I mean like...it'll just look like a wavy mess instead of having distinct sections of curls.
I hope this helps.
*Edit*
Oh and I forgot to put this in....another thing that works well for beachy waves is if you take an empty spray bottle and fill it with salt water. Just dissolve some sea salt in the water, it has to be sea salt though you can't use table salt. Then when you get out of the shower, wait till your hair is almost dry, thoroughly saturate it with the salt water, and then let it air dry. I always do it this way when I'm going to the beach, that way the product doesn't rinse out of my hair and make it look different than before I got it wet.

I don't use mousse so I don't know a lot about it, but I know that hair serum works. If you decide to use mousse use a professional brand like Tresemme (I think I spelled that wrong, sorry.)
