TheFool answered Sunday July 6 2008, 10:25 pm: There isn't anything you can do about this. I know this isn't what you want to hear. You probably want things back the way they were, with your best friend back and the other friend not dating a jerk. Unfortunately, you can't change other people's minds. I would just wait it out. Your friends will probably realize their mistakes eventually, and when they do, they will want someone to turn to for comfort from their hurt feelings. You can be there to comfort them (don't say "I told you so"...) and restart your friendships. What ever you do, don't keep trying to get your friend to leave the girl you don't like, and don't try to get your other friend to leave the mean guy. That will only make your friends resent you. Just try and tolerate it, and wait for the situation to change. [ TheFool's advice column | Ask TheFool A Question ]
